DOCTORAL AND MASTER PROGRAMS.

The academic calendar of the School of Education and Politics of the University for Scientific Research is structured in two semesters lasting 22 weeks each, excluding the examination period. All subjects are semester. The University for Scientific Research reserves the right to make modifications to the academic calendar as necessary per semester. TUITION DOCTORAL PROGRAMS:

Total payment of the program: $61,200.00 
Payment per year (includes two semesters): $20,400.00
Payment per semester: $10,200.00
Payment per subject according to credits:
In the case of 5.5 credit subjects: $2,987.00
In the case of 8.25 credit subjects: $4,480.00

TUITION MASTER PROGRAMS:

Total payment of the program: $45,600.00
Payment per year (includes two semesters): $22,800.00
Payment per semester: $11,400.00
Payment per subject according to credits:
In case of 5.5 credit subjects: $2,764.00
In case of 8.25 credit subjects: $4,146.00

INSTITUTIONAL REFUNDING POLICY.

Consideration for the refunding of tuition, at the request of the student, demands a written notice from the student to the Office of the Provost, where the reasons for his/her intention to withdraw from the University have to be expressed. The date on which this notice is received at mentioned Office is the effective date to consider the amount of the refund in accordance with the provisions of the schedule, which is presented below.

I. In case the student pays the total amount of the program, the refund will be effective in the following percentages:
1. Until before starting classes of the program.................................................................     100%
2. Starting first day of classes until Friday second week....................................................       80%
3. From Monday to Friday third week ........................... .. ...............................................       70%
4. From Monday to Friday fourth week ............................................................................       60%
5. From Monday to Friday fifth week ...............................................................................       50%
6. From starting the sixth week onwards ..........................................................................      40%
II. In case the student pays a partial amount (semester) program, the refund will be effective in the following percentages:
1. Until before starting classes of the program ..................................................................    100%
2. Starting first day of classes until Friday second week .....................................................      80%
3. From Monday to Friday third week.................................... ...........................................      60%
4. From Monday to Friday fourth week .............................................................................      50%
5. From Monday to Friday fifth week ................................................................................      40%

6. From starting the sixth week onwards...........................................................................      20%

Student who has enrolled with a full program payment, and for any reason, he/ she is absent from class from the first day and remains absent continuously until the end of the second week, without notifying the institution the fundamentals of his continuous absence, the amount of the refund will be 40%, and he/she will immediately be dropped from the program. In case of semester program payment, happening the same conditions expressed above, the amount of the refund is 20%, and he/she will immediately be dropped from the program. Refunds to students shall be made within 30 days of the date that the institution determines the student has withdrawn.
In the case, the student pays for health services and health insurance, these will not be refunded, so the student continues to be covered and is eligible to receive these services related to the referred rate. Transportation and parking fees are not refunded after second month ending.
The admission application fee is non-refundable.

TRANSFERABILITY OF CREDITS.

At the request of the student, the University for Scientific Research will inform the student about the application methodology, the development, and where appropriate, the result of any credit transferability process.
The University for Scientific Research will inform the requesting student that the transferability of the credit is at the discretion of the institution that accepts it, and that it is the student's responsibility to confirm whether or not the credits will be accepted by another institution of their choice. The University for Scientific Research does not have agreements with other institutions related to the transferability of academic credits.
The University for scientific research complies with the requirements established for the transferability of academic credit, establishing that the credits applied to grant a credential may be derived from a combination of any or all of the following: 
1. Units or credits earned and transferred from other postsecondary institutions, when they are consistent and applicable to the program of the receiving institution and when they are validated and confirmed by the receiving institution.
2. Successful completion of challenge exams or standardized tests that demonstrate credential-level learning in specific subject areas.
3. Previous learning, validated, evaluated, and confirmed by qualified instructors at the receiving institution.
